In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Mental Health Therapist with a decade of experience in individual therapy and specialized training in children and adolescents, Kris is also a Crisis Counselor with over ten years of experience in Emergency Departments throughout Chicago and the surrounding Chicagoland area.

Having treated thousands of patients both as a therapist and as a Crisis Counselor, Kris has worked closely with first responders and witnessed firsthand the toll that emergency response work takes on mental wellbeing. This firsthand understanding allows Kris to offer first responders and ED workers a therapeutic perspective grounded in the day-to-day realities of the job.
